Warriors Eskrima System

Study of this highly effective & empowering martial art will include the following disciplines. Weapons: Single Stick, Double Stick, Stick Grappling, Knife, Stick & Knife, Sword & Knife, Flexible Weapons, Projectiles. Empty Hand: Filipino Boxing, Filipino Kickboxing, Grappling, Throws & Takedowns. Though known as the art of stick fighting by many, Eskrima has a highly developed empty hand system - called Pangamut. Pangamut contains a unique boxing program called Panantukan, a kickboxing program called Sikaran and a Grappling program called Dumog. Drills and techniques taught in a fluid, non-restrictive manner allow students to enhance their natural attributes and improve their sense of timing, speed, awareness, reactions, balance, agility and confidence.

This formerly secret martial art is unique in its emphasis on flow and improvisation. It is this aspect which makes it so effective and intellectually stimulating to learn.

Warriors Eskrima - Worcestershire provides high quality instruction with well structured, progressive classes for its students and regular grading opportunities throughout the year. Guro Dion also provides his students with regular Training Seminars, Workshops, Competitions & Tournaments, Team Building Events, Sale of Training Equipment, Student Insurance and membership to The Institute of Filipino Martial Arts

Warriors Eskrima can be studied by those aged 16 years and above. It is for anyone who wishes to gain not only the ability to defend themselves and to be highly effective in combat but also for those who wish to develop self-esteem and self discipline. There is no need initially to be very strong or have a great deal of stamina. The training will itself develop these attributes over a very short period of time. You do not need to have any previous martial arts experience or qualifications. In essence all you need to have is enthusiasm and the desire to try something new!
