Hawakan – Filipino Axe
The Hawakan more popularly known as the side hand baton or Tonfa has very similar characteristics to the axe hence they are usually taught in the same category, the Filipino method of manipulating the Hawakan is totally different from other systems in that its more offensive than defensive.
