Syllabus
Warriors Eskrima is a synthesis of various styles and systems covering a wide range of training methodologies, principles, and concepts organised into a progressive and structured curriculum. Filipino Martial arts are preponderantly weapon based systems traditionally taught before unarmed fighting methods derived from historical and cultural reasons, an array of weaponry, empty hand techniques and drills are aimed at developing well rounded practitioners while constantly evolving and encouraging students to express their own personal attributes and technical effectiveness in such areas as single stick, double stick, knife defence, sword, sword and knife, staff projectiles and flexible weapons but to name a few.
When weapon familiarization and basic proficiency has been gained empty hand concepts, principles and methods are introduced seamlessly using the movement principles from weapons techniques which are historically translated to empty hand thus making the transition greatly efficient. Basic proficiency will be attained in all these areas to give a wide understanding of the Warriors system and the Filipino martial arts which are practiced world wide, this will give the student the skills to specialise and study more in-depth in their chosen areas.
